Sound Navigation, LLC offers a variety of nautical adventures aboard the SEAPORT EXPRESS departing from Rowayton and other ports in Connecticut and on Long Island.
The SEAPORT EXPRESS is a versatile craft that combines speed and comfort. Cruises offered by Sound Navigation, LLC aboard this vessel provide a unique perspective of numerous Long Island Sound lighthouses. During previous cruises, the SEAPORT EXPRESS has visited more than a dozen of the Castles of Long Island Sound. This list of lighthouses includes Faulkner Island to the east, to Great Captain Island to the west, and the many other beacons of hope that stand watch over harbors and obstructions found in between. Itineraries of various durations are available to accommodate passenger interest. The SEAPORT EXPRESS also provides transport of kayakers from Downunder Kayaking in Rowayton out to Sheffield Island on Saturday mornings (please see www.downunderkayaking.com for details). While we offer a number of scheduled public cruises, the SEAPORT EXPRESS remains available for private charter as well. Please note that the SEAPORT EXPRESS is certified by the United States Coast Guard to carry a maximum of 27 passengers but for private charters, we recommend limiting the size of your group to 20 passengers or less.
